Cosy Living
A lovely example of a modern yet cosy living space we had the pleasure of working on in Wadhurst, East Sussex. For this project, all the walls and ceiling were carefully painted using Johnstones Perfect Matt emulsion, expertly tinted to complement the elegant Farrow & Ball colour palette. The ceiling was finished in the soft shade of Pointing, creating a bright and airy feel. Above the dado rail, the walls were painted in Matchstick, adding warmth and subtle contrast, while below the dado rail, the walls were finished in the sophisticated tone of French Grey. To complete the look, all the woodwork was beautifully painted with Tikkurila Helmi 10, also tinted in French Grey, ensuring a cohesive and polished finish throughout the room.
Reading Room
It’s always a pleasure to revisit a client’s home and see a room we previously decorated being actively used and truly lived in. When you take a close look through the photos, you’ll notice just how poor the condition of the walls initially were. Even the newly applied plaster work left much to be desired, so, equipped with our sanders and plenty of filler, we set about the task with determination. After extensive preparation, we managed to bring the walls and woodwork up to a high standard that we felt proud of. We’re confident that you will agree the transformation of this room is nothing short of stunning. The walls and ceiling were painted using Johnstone’s Perfect Matt, while all the woodwork was finished with Tikkurila Helmi 10. The lovely green shade was custom mixed to perfectly match Farrow & Ball’s Yeabridge Green.
